Dom C. BautistaExecutive Director & Managing Editor, Law Courts CenterDom has been the executive director of the Law Courts Center for 23 years. He sat on the Legal Office Assistant Program Advisory Groups at Camosun College and Vancouver Community College. Dom is a member of the American Bar Association. 5 years ago, Dom Bautista began the Amici Curiae Pro Bono Programme. It operates 6 clinics for self-represented litigants, including battered women and transgender women, First Nations Peoples and the poor, who need help completing their court forms. |

Linda DurhamChief Training Officer & InstructorLinda is the chief training officer for the teaching staff. Linda has a master's degree in adult education from Simon Fraser University in 2002 and is presently researching brain based education in the University of Washington. |

Kathie AustinInstructor & Senior Editor, Law Courts CenterKathie is a freelance legal assistant who has been working in law in Vancouver and Toronto for twenty-five years. She serves as the principal editor for all the desk reference manuals of Law Courts Center. She writes fiction and poetry and is interested in the way legal staff manage their work and personal lives. |

Linda CaseInstructor & Author, Law Courts CenterLinda’s paralegal career began after she completed her paralegal studies at Capilano College in 1982 as their valedictorian. Her experience spans twenty five years of handling general civil litigation cases and specifically personal (motor vehicle) injury actions for both the plaintiff and defence bars. While employed with ICBC, she experienced the world of a claim centre adjuster and brings that aspect to her writing and teaching as well. Linda has written a number of desk reference manuals. |

Cheryl StephensInstructor & Author, Law Courts CenterCheryl graduated from the University of British Columibia Faculty of Law in 1977. She practiced criminal, family, and insolvency law in British Columbia before becoming a legal educator and specialist in legal communication and writing. She is active in the plain language, literacy, and public legal education communities. |
