Description:

In the second part of his lecture, Kevin Smith, counsel with BC Centre for Elder Advocacy and Support,  returns to introduce forms of elder abuse.   Overview of personal planning tools to prevent abuse.  Responding to abuse, especially financial abuse – the ‘rogue’ power of attorney, unpaid undocumented loans, misuse of joint accounts, asset disputes.

CPD 1 hour including .5  hour for client relations.
