Upon completion of the session, attendees will:

1. understand the key differences between a civil action and a judicial review, including:

  i. When each of them are appropriate
 ii.  What is the purpose of each
 iii. What kind of outcome can be obtained at each
 iv. What are the rules governing each of them
2. be able to identify how and when a judicial review is the appropriate next step instead of a civil action.
